Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries on Family Holiday

They have a wedding in the works, but Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries aren't holding out for their honeymoon to enjoy romance on a tropical island.

The engaged couple were spotted frolicking together in Bora Bora after stealing a little alone time while on a family holiday.

It's the first time the NBA player has joined in on a trip away with so many of the Kardashian clan.

Kim invited the New Jersey Nets star to join her and her family on holiday to the Pacific island of last month, after both agreed it would be the perfect time for him to get to know his in-laws.

And it must have gone very smoothly for the couple because just a couple of weeks later, Kris, 26, got down on one knee and popped the question.

Speaking to Us magazine, Kim, 30, said: 'Family is so important to me. Kris and I were like, "this is going to be the test".

They were joined at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa by her mother Kris Jenner, 55, stepfather Bruce Jenner, 61 and her older sister Kourtney, 32, who came with boyfriend Scott Disick, 28, and their 18-month-old son, Mason.

Also along for the idyllic island ride was Kim's brother Rob, 24, and her half-sisters Kendall, 15, and Kylie, 13.

Unfortunately, younger sister Khloe, 27, and her L.A. Laker husband Lamar Odom, 31, had to stay behind for the NBA playoffs.

But while he was there to meet and be welcomed into the Kardashian clan, Kris was also able to enjoy some quality time with his bride-to-be, who was just his girlfriend of six months at that stage.

They were snapped walking hand-in-hand in the crystal clear surf together and took every opportunity to sneak and kiss and a cuddle.

They spent a romantic night out together at the Bloody Mary's restaurant, bar and yacht club, and Kim showed off her enviable curves in a brown wrap dress which clung in all the right places.

Kim also managed to put on a full display of several sexy bikinis during the week-long holiday which understandably meant that Kris couldn't keep his eyes of her.

But she wasn't the only one who had packed for a beachside fashion parade with big sister Kourtney determined to be as much of a bikini babe as Kim.

And she and boyfriend Scott Disick seemed to be getting on very well, despite their well-publicised troubles, and played the happy family doting over baby son Mason, who looked very cute in his beach shorts as he ran up and down the sand.

The holiday is part of an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as part of the new season which began on Sunday night.

As how well received was Kris into the Kardashian family? 'He won them over for sure', said Kim afterwards.

Significantly, Shamita moves to another career at a time when Shilpa herself has taken a sabbatical of sorts from acting. However, in her case, it is voluntary.

Explains Shilpa, "At the moment, I'm playing the most satisfying role of my life - that of a housewife. Films were never the be-all-end-all of my life. Right now I find the idea of looking after my home far more exciting and challenging than rushing off to studios early morning."

But she didn't miss a single opportunity to promote a new law against fur manufacturing and import.

Israel is about to become the first country in the world to pass such a law in parliament.

In a small vegetarian restaurant in Tel Aviv, Anderson met with the Israeli media.

There was probably no better time to camp things up – which is exactly what Christina Aguilera did as she became the first star to be inaugurated into the Hollywood Gay Walk of Fame yesterday.

But as the singer prepared to be honoured she appeared to have forgotten her dress, arriving in just her underwear.

The Burlesque star was bursting out of her lace basque which showed off her ample cleavage and teamed the lingerie with a fifties-style suspender belt and finished the look off with a feather and lace negligée and a pair of fishnet tights.

As usual Christina was wearing her trademark bright red lips and matched the lipstick shade with her nail varnish.

Her platinum blonde locks, which verged on white at the root, were worn in a set wave with curls.

And, given the risqué outfit, Christina had to ensure she didn’t suffer a wardrobe malfunction as she arrived at the Abbey in West Hollywood and carefully kept things covered as she got out of her car.

The authorities have now ruled that Rutler ultimately had an alcohol level of 0.6 - safely under California's 0.8 limit to drive - and not 0.9 as originally reported, TMZ.com claims.

Christina Aquilera was a passenger at the time of the arrest early last month and was arrested for public intoxication and was deemed 'incapable of taking care of herself'.

The singer recently became officially single after her divorce came through from her estranged husband Jordan Bratman.

Muslim model has upset her family by stripping for a series of saucy shots for Playboy.

Until now, Sila Sahin, a 25-year-old Turkish German living in Berlin, had been regarded as a glowing example of how a modern Muslim girl should behave in a multicultural society.

A successful actress starring in German television soap opera 'Good Times, Bad Times', she pleased her many fans and made her Turkish family proud.

But her latest move has outraged her family and Muslim fans, reports the Daily Mail.

Posing provocatively on the cover of German Playboy magazine with one breast exposed, Sahin seems to be sending a clear and deliberate message to her conservative Turkish family.

"I did it because I wanted to be free at last. These photographs are a liberation from the restrictions of my childhood," she said.

Her family has, unsurprisingly, reacted with horror, and her mother has cut off all contact with the actress.

"My mother is still angry. It will be even more difficult with my grandparents, my aunts and my uncles," she said on the website devoted to her television soap.
She has, however, managed to talk to her actor father, who expressed concern over the pressure she will inevitably face from the Muslim community.

Sahin's declared intention was to use the controversial Playboy photoshoot as a call to action for other Turkish girls who suffer the effects of their strict backgrounds, where women's choices are often limited, husbands are chosen for the girls and chastity closely controlled.

Her message to these girls?

"For too long I tried to do everything right. I want these photos to show young Turkish women it's okay for you to live however you choose," she said.

'Many of my countrymen think it's great that I can be so free. With the shoot I hoped to say to them that we do not necessarily have to live under these rules given to us," she added.

In what is undeniably a groundbreaking move, Sahin is the first Turkish woman ever to strip for the cover of Playboy.

Indeed, in the 12-page article that accompanies the revealing photographs, Sahin says she feels 'like Che Guevara', adding that the semi-naked photoshoot was a bid to express her freedom.

'My upbringing was conservative. I was always told, you must not go out, you must not make yourself look so attractive, you mustn't have male friends," she told Playboy.

"I have always abided by what men say. As a result I developed an extreme desire for freedom. I feel like Che Guevara. I have to do everything I want, otherwise I feel like I may as well be dead," she added.

Pamela Anderson Fights for Banning Seal Meat

BEIJING: Former "Baywatch" star and animal activist Pamela Anderson has called on China to join other countries in banning imports of seal meat and oil from her native Canada, calling seal-hunting inhumane.

Anderson sent a letter to China's minister of land and resources, Xu Shaoshi, inviting him to accompany her to Canada to witness the "cruelty of the annual seal slaughter".

"Please don't allow China to become a dumping ground for seal meat and oil products that even Canadians don't want," the letter said.

Canada and China reached an agreement earlier this year on Chinese imports of seal meat and oil after the European Union banned seal products following an activist outcry over commercial seal-hunting.

Dozens of Chinese animal rights groups hit out at Canada in January over that deal, accusing it of turning China into a "dumping ground" for seal products.

In her letter to Xu, released Tuesday by the animal rights group PETA, Anderson said many of the seals, some just months old and unable to escape, were bludgeoned to death with clubs that have sharp spikes mounted on them.

"If you witnessed this massacre, I'm sure that you'd have a change of heart about importing seal products into China," the letter said.

The Canadian government maintains that the 350-year-old commercial seal hunt is humane and crucial for some 6,000 North Atlantic fishermen who rely on it for up to 35 percent of their total annual income.

Animal rights groups, however, say it is barbaric, and have waged an aggressive campaign in recent years to stop it.

Anderson, a buxom Canadian sex symbol who gained fame as a Playboy magazine "playmate" and then on the US beach-rescue TV series "Baywatch", is a prominent animal rights activist.

Earlier this year she appealed, though PETA, to India's top medical institute to retire old monkeys used in scientific research, and last year called on Israel's ultra-orthodox Jews to abandon their traditional fur hats.

China is the third-largest importer of Canadian fish and seafood, behind the United States and European Union.

By authorising seal meat and oil imports, it joined Japan and South Korea as new markets for Canadian seal products.

China's government had no immediate response to Anderson's appeal.

Lindsay Lohan rejected a judge's offer to end a felony grand theft case early and her attorney said Wednesday it is because the actress has a strong defense and is confident she can win an acquittal.

“Ms. Lohan has maintained her innocence from the moment this case was filed and she has never wavered," attorney Shawn Holley wrote in a statement released hours after the actress informed a judge she would not accept his plea offer.

Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz never publicly detailed the terms of his offer to Lohan, but said if she pleaded no contest or guilty to taking a $2,500 necklace, he would sentence her to jail. Prosecutors are also seeking jail time for the "Mean Girls" star, who was on probation for a 2007 drunken driving case when a store told police that Lohan had taken a necklace without permission in January.

"Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking 'the deal,' the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent; she has a strong defense; and we are confident that a jury will listen to the evidence fairly and acquit her," Holley wrote.

Wednesday was the deadline for Lindsay Lohan to notify Schwartz of her intentions and she will now be required to appear in court on April 22 for a preliminary hearing.

Prosecutors have charged Lohan after a jewelry store accused her of taking the necklace without permission in January.

The preliminary hearing will be conducted by a new judge -- the fourth one Lohan has faced in the past year -- who will determine whether there is enough evidence for Lohan to stand trial on the felony grand theft charge.

If the judge rules Lohan should stand trial, the actress could immediately be sentenced for a probation violation from the DUI case and sent to jail for the fourth time.

The actress, 24, has pleaded not guilty to the charge and repeatedly denied wrongdoing.

Preliminary hearings have a lower burden of proof than jury trials, and generally end with a judge's ordering defendants to stand trial. Although Holley has the opportunity to present witnesses during the hearing, most defense attorneys opt not to divulge their strategy but rather assess the strength of the evidence.

Cnn - Sandra Bullock sent a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross this week to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the Red Cross said Thursday.

It is the largest celebrity donation to the Red Cross to be announced since the disaster struck last Friday, although the charity may have gotten large contributions that were kept confidential at the donors' request.

"This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan," the relief organization said.

The contribution was made by the Oscar-winning actress on behalf of her family, the Red Cross said.

Dozens of celebrities used their social network accounts, including Twitter, to urge fans to support the Red Cross with small donations. The group has received $2.6 million since last Friday in $10 donations sent through cell phone text messages, it said.

Overall, the American Red Cross has raised about $47 million in the United States since the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan last Friday.

The U.S. organization has passed $10 million of those donations on to the Japanese Red Cross for work on the ground in Japan, it said.

For more than a decade, singer Britney Spears has been dominating the airwaves, surpassing most of her fellow pop princesses. But what is about Spears that keeps the 29-year-old singer at the top of the charts while so many of peers struggle to keep up?

“Britney had the biggest hits in her day, there is long-lasting good will towards her and people root for her to succeed,” Monica Herrera, News Editor of Billboard.com told FOX411’s Pop Tarts. “People find Britney relatable and her songs are good, her fans want to see her dance and be a spectacle. Dance pop is even bigger than before and she has always been a part of that.”

As far as music sales are concerned, Spears’ recently released “Hold It Against Me” immediately shot to the top of the charts, following in the footsteps of her 2008 number one album “Circus.” In contrast, Christina Aguilera’s recent album “Bionic” was a big disappointment, selling just 110,000 copies in its first week of sales. Similarly, Jessica Simpson’s 2010 holiday album debuted at a weak No. 123 on the charts.

And while she may not be on the same level vocally as Simpson and Aguilera, fans don’t seem to care. In fact, Spears infamous lip-synching hasn’t hindered her concert sales in the slightest. According to Pollster, her “Circus” tour was the third highest-grossing tour worldwide in 2009 (just behind ACDC and Fleetwood Mac) and pulled a gross of around $54.8 million.

“Aguilera obviously is a better singer, but Britney has much better songs than her. Spears works with the best producers, songwriters, even her videos are more memorable,” explained David Schulhof, Entertainment Expert and Chief Executive Officer, E2 Group LLC. “She’s more of a pop icon. The personal interest in Britney also produces sales, which is why she has sold 100 million albums while Christina has sold 50 million and Jessica has sold 20 million albums.”

But music aside, the public’s fascination with Spears adds to her overall success. Fans have watched the star at her most vulnerable moments and can identify with her stumbles. And most importantly, despite her struggles, Spears has kept to her winning formula of catchy tunes and dance songs.

“Christina and Jessica have, in many ways, alienated their original fan base. Whether it’s Christina jumping on the Gaga train with her last album or Jessica going country – fans aren’t sure what to expect each time they drop an album,” television personality and celebrity DJ Jakissa “DJ Kiss” Taylor added. “With Britney, you know what is coming – Britney! She has a formula and she sticks to it.”

Christina Aguilera was arrested early Tuesday

Singer Christina Aguilera was arrested early Tuesday near the Sunset Strip on suspicion of being drunk in public but will not be prosecuted, authorities said.

Aguilera, 30, was "extremely intoxicated" when a car driven by her boyfriend was stopped at about 2:45 a.m. on Clark Street, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Bill McSweeney said.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Aguilera "didn't really understand where she was" but was cooperative.

"She was not belligerent in any way whatsoever," Whitmore said.
Deputies saw the Mustang "burn rubber" and fishtail onto a street, he said.

The noise could be heard 100 feet away and constituted an "exhibition of speed" that prompted deputies to immediately stop the car, Whitmore said.

They smelled alcohol on the breath of 25-year-old Matthew Rutler, and a field sobriety test found him to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.09 percent, Whitmore said.
In California, a driver is legally under the influence at or above 0.08 percent.

The car was stopped just off the Sunset Strip, not far from such famous nightspots as Whiskey A Go-Go and the Viper Room.

Rutler was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released on $5,000 bail. Sheriff's officials didn't know if Rutler had hired an attorney.

McSweeney said Aguilera appeared too drunk to care for herself and had no driver to take her home. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public so she could be held at the West Hollywood sheriff's station, he said.
Whitmore did not know much the 5-foot-2, 100-pound Aguilera may have been drinking.

She was given a breath test but the results will not be made public because she had no criminal intent and will not be prosecuted, he said. However, the misdemeanor arrest will remain on her record.

Aguilera did not ask to have anyone pick her up during the 30 to 45 minutes that deputies were at the car, Whitmore said.

"She didn't really understand where she was," he said. "She said she didn't drive so she didn't even know where she lived."

Whitmore said Aguilera was booked, fingerprinted and put alone in a cell. She was kept there until she was able to pass another sobriety test.

"When she was able to navigate and think on her own ... she was released" on $250 bail, he said.

Aguilera was released from the back of the station at about 7:30 a.m., avoiding a cluster of paparazzi out front. She was driven home by an acquaintance who may have been a bodyguard, Whitmore said.

"It ends here," he said. "She's home safe and sound so, you know, job accomplished."
California law allows deputies to detain intoxicated people for their own welfare until they sober up, without having any intention of prosecuting them, McSweeney said.

"You're sitting in a car drunk. You have every legal right to be there, but when we come across you we say you can't drive and we're not going to put you on the sidewalk," he explained.

Calls to Aguilera's agent, Tracy Brennan, and her publicist, Nicole Perez, weren't returned Tuesday.

Aguilera recently split from music marketer Jordan Bratman, the father of her 3-year-old son. She filed for divorce in October, and their split becomes official April 15.
Aguilera lost her footing and briefly went down at the Feb. 13 Grammy Awards during a tribute medley to singer Aretha Franklin. She also made headlines by botching a line while singing the national anthem at the Feb. 6 Super Bowl.

Sources close to Aguilera tell TMZ they have been trying to get the singer into a rehab program for weeks.

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is likely to be charged Monday for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewellery store.

If convicted, the troubled star faces up to three years in prison. Lohan was captured on the Los Angeles store's security camera wearing the necklace and is said to have been photographed with the accessory one week later. However, the piece has been returned.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office is expected to file charges as early as Monday, reports usmagazine.com.

Income tax department raided Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra's office and House

Income Tax sleuths swooped on the office and residence of Bollywood megastars Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Monday morning in connection with alleged tax evasion cases, an official said.

The raids started around 7.30 a.m. simultaneously at 12 sites, including the residences of the two actresses in the western suburbs. Priyanka’s home in Versova, Andheri West, was raided.

Also raided were the homes of their secretaries, their respective office premises and other locations, the official said.

The IT department is investigating whether the two actresses have paid taxes proportionate to their known sources of income during the past year.

Both Katrina and Priyanka are high ranking Bollywood actresses who work with top stars and leading film banners, besides endorsing top brands and participating in the major stage shows in India and abroad.

The raids are still continuing.

Britney Spears’ new single Hold It Against Me has broken several records in the United States, where it has become just the 18th song to debut at No 1 on the Billboard chart, despite the star doing no promotion.

Britney has also become the second artist in the chart’s 52-year history, behind Mariah Carey, to have two consecutive tracks debut at No 1 – her last hit, 3, topped the chart in 2009. Mariah achieved the milestone in the nineties with Fantasy, One Sweet Day and Honey. More established acts like Michael Jackson and Madonna were never able to match the chart success.

Hold It Against Me has also become America’s fastest selling track by a female, beating the record previously set by Taylor Swift's 2010 hit Today Was A Fairytale.

"Over the last decade, Britney Spears has had her ups and downs. But, every time she drops new music, it is an event," an industry expert explained. "Audience reaction to her new single has been nothing short of amazing."

According to Billboard, the track also topped the chart in 19 other countries this week. But it’s a different story in the UK – Adele and Bruno Mars are tussling for the top spot on Sunday’s chart with Britney’s comeback single lucky to make the top five.
